An overview of Gray Fund Withdrawals (Updated June, 2024)

Who can request a Withdrawal? Participating Members of the Gray Digital, Gray Fund are able to request withdrawals from during the designated withdrawal period each month.

The designated withdrawal period is from 12:00am EST on the 24th of each month to 12:00am EST of the 26th of each month (48 Hours).

Note: The withdrawal window is typically from the 24th-26th of each month, but could be subject to change due to holidays and other events. Reference the Gray Digital website, Twitter, Telegram and the Gray Digital Discord for more detailed information and alerts. The Gray Digital will update the community when all withdrawals are completed.

During these withdrawal periods, Participating Members can request a withdrawal from their Principal Balance and their Rewards Balance. Withdrawals are processed and settled from the 1st to the 5th of each month.

What funds are eligible?

  • Rewards Balance: Participating Members whose membership is up-to-date, who have a principal balance and a reward balance may request a rewards withdrawal. A 15% fee is applied to all rewards withdrawals. The withdrawal amount must be less or equal to the available balance, including applicable fees.

  • Principal Balance: Participating Members whose membership is up-to-date, and who have a principal balance can withdrawal from their principal balance with no fee. The withdrawal amount must be less or equal to the available balance, including applicable fees.

  • Participating Member's Total Account Balance: A Participating Members "Total Account Balance" is a combination of their Gray Fund Principal Balance and the Gray Fund Rewards Balance. Please reference the Gray Fund Balances section for more information.

All withdrawal requests will be deducted from the Rewards Balance first. A Participating Member can NOT withdraw funds from their Principal Balance instead of their Rewards Balance. Withdrawal requests that exceed the Rewards Balance will remove funds from the Principal Balance as well.

Where are withdrawal requests made? Withdrawal requests will be requested and processed within the decentralized application (dApp) https://graydigital.com/dapp/fund. This requires the connection of a verified wallet address. Once your wallet is connected, you will scroll down to "Withdraw" on the dApp (reference image below).

What currency will I receive upon withdrawal? Upon a withdrawal, the reward balance is converted into a single, common cryptocurrency stablecoin and distributed to Participating Members. Currently, rewards are available to be claimed in USDT and USDC on nine (9) networks: Ethereum (ETH), Binance Chain (BNB), Polygon(MATIC), Avalanche (AVAX), Optimism (OP), Arbitrum (ARB), Base, Solana (SOL) and Tron (TRX).

What are the withdrawal fees? A 15% withdrawal fee is applied to all processed withdrawals. This fee is applied to each processed withdrawal individually. The 15% withdrawal fee only applies to claimed rewards, and not claimed principal balance. Principal balance funds are NOT subject to the 15% withdrawal fee.

Note: Commonly asked question - Is the fee added or removed from the withdrawal amount? The 15% fee will be deducted from the requested amount, not added to the requested amount. See below for more details.

How are the fees calculated? A 15% fee is applied to the requested withdrawal amount. For example: If a Participating Member requests $1,000.00 from their reward balance.

For example: Here is an example of an account with a Total Balance (Principal Balance and a Reward Balance) making a withdrawal request.

Please review all transactions before submission to minimize errors. Once a transaction has been completed, it will not be reverted or amended.

When are withdrawal requests fulfilled?

Withdrawals are processed and settled from the 1st to the 5th of each month.

What are the withdrawal limits?

There are no limits to withdrawals that are processed. Withdrawal amounts are only limited by the Gray Fund Balance of the Participating Member. There are no limits to withdrawals that are processed. “Large Withdrawals” Definition:

Large withdrawals are defined as withdrawals over $75,000.00. Large withdrawals will experience slightly longer settlement times due to unwinding investment positions, market dynamics, and 3rd party restrictions. Typically, these withdrawals will be processed within the 1-5th of the month. All substantial withdrawals will be processed and handled on a case by case basis.

Large Withdrawal Notification requirement:

If a Participating Member plans to withdraw a large amount, a withdrawal notification is required. Participating Members planning a withdrawal of $75,000.00 or more, are required to open a Withdrawal Notification Support Ticket in the Gray Digital Discord prior to the withdrawal request. This notification must be submitted from the 1st of the month to the 15th of the month prior to the withdrawal request window. Participating Members must also request their withdrawal during the designated withdrawal period from 12:00am EST on the 24th of each month to 12:00am EST of the 26th of each month on the Gray Digital dApp https://graydigital.com/dapp/fund. Notifications received after the 15th of the month could be subject to longer distribution times, and/or may not be processed until the following month’s withdrawal window. Failure to provide notification of a large withdrawal could be subject to longer distribution times, and/or may not be processed until the following month’s withdrawal window.

  • Large Withdrawal Notifications are required for withdrawals of $75,000.00 or more

  • Notifications must be submitted between the 1st and the 15th of the month

  • Notifications received after the 15th of the month and failure to provide notification could result in longer distribution times, and/or may not be processed until the following month’s withdrawal window.
